The National Parliament rejected to pass Agriculture Master Plan developed by the ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
The plan did not clarify the role of the Agriculture Bank and financing of projects, says Pascal Bandidi Uru Chairperson of the Committee of Land and Natural Resources.
He recommends review of the mandate of the Agriculture Bank and its lending policies, Radio Bakhita reports.
MP Remijo Lasu Peter urges the ministry of Agriculture to send the plan to states to allow people give their ideas.
The MP blessed the master plan to be returned to the ministry of Agriculture for one week review.
The Ministry last year set the 25-year master plan for the development of agriculture in South Sudan.
