Citizens in Yei River State have been asked to put in all efforts to produce enough food through intensive cultivation.

Government economic advisor, Aggrey Tisa Sabuni, stresses that citizens should become exporters rather than importers, Radio Easterr reports.

Producing enough food in fertile land with sufficient rainfall will get rid of the difficult economic situation, he adds.

Sabuni appeals to citizens to focus on creating stability, peace and enough food.

The economic advisor made the remarks recently during the inaugural ceremony of Yei River State governor.
