SPLM-IO senior leaders on Friday evening returned to Juba after consultations in the meeting in Pagak.
The meeting maintains the ten states as provided for in the peace agreement, the head of delegation Taban Deng Gai told reporters at Juba Airport.
He said if the government insists on the 28 states and stop the formation of Transitional Government of National Unity, the parties will return to the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission.
“In case of disagreement between us and the government, we shall ask JMEC to decide or report to the AU and the UN Security Council. This is important because we don’t want to disagree later”, Deng Gai said.
