The position of the Speaker in the Transitional National Legislative Assembly should be filled by a woman, the Consortium of Organizations for Women of South Sudan tells President Kiir.

We have seen the executive and all positions of the president, first and the second vice are filled by men, Rita Martin, Executive Director for Eve Organization for Women Development tells the press.

She also calls for the fulfillment of the 25 percent women representation in the transitional government of national unity.

Bahama Abdalla says women are fed up of demanding the 25 percent.

South Sudan women will continue to lead the call for peace and demand their rights of participation in decision-making process at all levels, including the position of ambassador, said the Women Consortium.
