Japanese Envoy in Juba for bilateral talks

The Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, JICA is in South Sudan Juba for a four-day visit to assess projects funded by their government in country.
 
Hiroskhi Kato says he came to Juba to review cooperation agreements between the two countries and hold talks with the leadership of South Sudan, Radio Bakhita reports.
 
Kato says he will also take part in the National Unity Sports Event scheduled for January 15 to promote peace.
 
He urges South Sudanese to embrace and sport activities to encourage peace and unity in the country.
 
The Japanese Envoy will be in Juba until Monday to witness the start of the National Unity Day celebrations.
