Kiir Mayardit Women’s Hospital authorities in Lakes State urge mothers to give birth in hospitals to avoid risks of unsafe delivery.
Medical Officer James Dhieu Thon told Good News Radio on Wednesday that women report late to the hospital after getting complications during delivery at home.
He says four cases including one death occurred last month after women delivering at home where brought unconscious and others with too much bleeding.
Dhieu reveals that some mothers have lost pregnancies after choosing their own drug prescriptions outside hospital.
The Medical Officer encourages mothers to take regular anti-natal checks in the hospitals.
