The Chairperson of JMEC arrived Malakal on Wednesday, as part of his visit in South Sudan.
Festus G Mogae met government officials, representatives of South Sudanese society and humanitarian agencies in the area.
He also met the Monitoring and Verification Teams of the Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring Mechanism and United Nations officials.
The JMEC Chairperson is expected to travel Bentiu today,Thursday to conduct similar meetings.
He will travel to Addis Ababa after completing the two visits for further meetings in support of the implementation of the peace agreement.
I am keen to visit Greater Bahr el Ghazal in February, said JEMC chairperson.
