Police say they arrested two suspects for burning a shop in Yei.
The suspects are undergoing investigations in the custody, says Police Inspector Colonel Jeremiah Maker Nai, Radio Easter reports.
A trader’s shop was burned to ashes on Friday night at Hai Tacha area of Yei Municipality.
At least 25,000 Pounds, refrigerators, video screens and other goods in stocks were reduced to ashes.
Julius Yuma says the fire was triggered by petrol and destroyed his shop.
He says he was sleeping in the shop.
Malish Maliamungu, Chamber of Commerce Secretary strongly condemned the act.
The Chamber will lobby support from fellow business people to support the stranded trader, he added.
