SPLM-DC recommends changing name to the ‘Democratic Change Party of South Sudan’.
The new name has been recommended to the National Delegates Congress to adopt it, Deng Bior Deng, SPLM-DC Secretary General announces.
SPLM-DC is one of the South Sudan opposition parties.
It is a suggestion of the national council that the party’s name should be changed because SPLM was for the liberation of South Sudanese, he explains.
Dr Lam Akol Ajawin, the party’s Chairman says the national council has decided to change the party’s name in a right way as they promised.
