We are saddened, shaken, confused by the attack and looting done to Sister of Solidarity with South Sudan at Teachers Training College, says Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala points out that the violence, public intolerance, and fear seems rampant in both church and society.
He regrets that the inhuman attack on the Sisters, at Solidarity Teachers Training College is the worst evil ever caused to his life.
Bishop Hiiboro calls upon South Sudanese, particularly people of Western Equatoria, churches and Muslims to pray for the violence to stop.
This tragedy hits so hard on us, he adds.
The Bishop cites lack of progress being made to end gun violence.
He says the sudden and drastic nature of this crime scares them all more.
Bishop Hiiboro urges citizens not to give up the struggle to create a different and better society.
He prays to God to save people.
