Khartoum unveiled new strategy to resolve the crises in Darfur region It said its new strategy to resolve the crisis in Darfur is oriented towards the domestication of the resolution of the issue, Associated Press reported.
Sudan’s new representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Daffa-Alla Osman, said the Sudanese government is concerned that all the stakeholders should be involved in a final agreement to resolve the conflict.
Mr. Osman added that there is a need also to create a conducive environment for the safe and dignified return of refugees and the displaced to their places in Darfur. Ambassador Daffa-Alla Osman said Khartoum is also concerned about the safety and security of UNAMID peacekeepers and humanitarian workers in the region.
