The Episcopal Bishop of Sudan and South Sudan in Lainya Diocese tells South Sudanese warring parties to end war now to relieve citizens from suffering.

Bishop Elioba Laku Obet made the call after realizing the suffering of Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs from Wonduruba in camps even during Christmas, Radio Easter reports.

The Bishop says hopes are high for a new era of peace and justice to come soon.

There are about 11thousand Wonduruba IDPs settled in Lainya County.

Some nongovernmental organizations and individuals are supplying some aid to them, Bishop Elioba says.
