UNESCO is facilitating the exhibition of South Sudanese cultural heritage and diversity at international level.
The South Sudanese cultural artefacts are expected to be displayed at the Nile Museum in Aswan, Egypt.
The Nile Museum is designed to reflect cooperation and brotherhood between the Nile Basin countries.
The heritage of South Sudan will be represented at the Nile Museum by artefacts collected from Eastern and Western Equatoria plus Western Bahr El Ghazal States.
Its objective is to create a forum for South Sudanese to tell their stories and discover common heritage.
Video footage, photographs, stories and objects were collected in a participatory manner to provide an opportunity for communities to learn about one another.
