85 couples on Saturday concluded a three-day Holy Family workshop at Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Nuba Mountains under the Catholic Diocese of El-Obeid.

Catechist John Abdallah said the workshop addressed living together in harmony with the family and bringing up children in a good way, Radio Voice of Peace reported.

He thanked Sister Catherine Khamis for opening the course and helping mothers who came along with the children to attend the sessions.

The catechist called on couples who did not attend the workshop to join next year to get educated and live together as a Christian family.

He urges men not to undermine these courses because they are developmental and teach couples, especially women to live in freedom.

Catechist Abdallah announced that the workshop will take place every year.

Many participants said they learnt more about love to their families, children and the neighbours.

Veronica Bashir suggested that sister Catharine should invite more couples next year so that they can learn how to live in harmony.
