Dr. Anne Itto was in China to attend the China African forum on agriculture where nineteen African countries attended.
Addressing the press upon her arrival at Juba International Airport, Dr. Itto said that besides oil blogs, China also wants to explore south Sudan’s minerals and agriculture.
Dr. anne Itto confirmed that China’s primary interest is not that for politics but a partnership that would allow them to invest in something that would support their national demand.
She later mentioned that China earlier built its relationship with south Sudan on lies articulated by the Khartoum government.
China’s greatest oil success abroad has been in Sudan due to its need for oil reserves for its growing domestic economy.
