The presidential spokesperson announces on Thursday that SPLM/A-In-Opposition leader Riek Machar will show up in Juba next week.
Ateny Wek Ateny says Dr Machar will accompany Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn for IGAD Heads of State meeting in Juba next Thursday.
He says the summit is meant to speed up the implementation of the peace agreement.
The Spokesperson also announces sudden postponement of President Salva Kiir’s nation address.
He says the speech was suspended until further notice due to some important matters not addressed in the president’s written script.
