SPLM-N and the Sudan government’s talks is set to resume on security arrangements next Wednesday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

SPLM-N Chief Negotiator Yassir Arman said the Movement received African Union High Implementation Panel’s invitation, Voice of Peace reported.

He said the two sides will discuss cessation of hostilities for humanitarian purposes in Blue Nile, South Kordofan and Darfur regions.

Arman added that their delegation would go to the talks with an open mind and heart in order to reach an agreement for people to get humanitarian aid.

The Chief Negotiator hopes the talks would break up government’s military reinforcements in South Kordofan and Blue Nile States.

He condemned the government ban on travel of the leaders of the ‘Sudan Call’ dialogue in Paris, France.

Arman said the ban coincides with the repeated government statements on dialogue and the escalation of campaign against opposition activists.

He criticized the National Congress Party leaders for sending large troops to the three areas while speaking about the peaceful resolution of the conflict at the conference.
