South Sudan is expected to benefit from the first Transform Africa scholarship on information and communication technology or ICT starting in January.
Telecommunications and Postal Services Minister Rebecca Joshua Okwaci on Monday said South Sudan students will join technology courses, Radio Bakhita reported.
Minister Joshua stressed the need to improve ICT education in South Sudan to enable citizens compete in the world technology sector.
The Transform Africa Scholarship fund is an initiative of African heads of states aimed to support information and communication technology education for successful students.
