The Superior General of the Society of Jesus or Jesuits calls on South Sudanese at Loyola Secondary School in Wau town of Western Bahr El Ghazal it is time to embrace peace and rebuild the country.
Fr Adolfo Nicolas says time has come for South Sudanese to discover the true meaning of loving one another, sharing and respecting the diverse cultures in the young nation.
He says peace comes with blessings of development, self liberty and prosperity which are not seen when there is war.
“The Kingdom of God is Peace. And God, Allah or however we call Him, wants peace in our midst, wants peace because this is the greatest gift and peace is above everything. And thats why the people of Israel, when they recover their peace, they are very joyful, but there are tears in their eyes. And we all need peace. Peace to study, peace to work, peace to develop our country and peace to live together in joy”.
