The Jesuit Congregation Superior General for the first time arrived in Wau Catholic Diocese on Wednesday.
Fr Adolfo Nicolas is visiting his congregation institution of St Ignatius of Loyola and pastoral community house, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
He toured Jesuit Loyola Secondary School and presided over Eucharistic celebration with students.
Wau Catholic Diocese Vicar General Fr Germano Bernardo hails the Jesuit community for their role in education.
He calls on them to extend their services to rural areas.
Jesuit Congregation members see the visit of their Fr General as a start of new projects in South Sudan and to expand their educational support in the country.
