Yei River County Legislative Council has formed 15-member committee to monitor the usage of budget and implementation of development projects.
Council’s Chairman Cosmas Lasuba tells Radio Easter that the fifteen member committee comprising of executive and legislative council members will improve service delivery and minimize embezzlement of public funds.
He adds that the committee will ensure the function of the funds based on the needs of the community in all departments.
The Chairman says the team will also ensure the budget appropriation as planned to avoid lack of service delivery.
