Torit Catholic Diocese Apostolic Administrator says it is vital for the warring parties to first implement the Peace Agreement they signed in August rather than creating new states.

Monsignor Thomas Oliha Tiya in his personal opinion tells CRN that all efforts should be geared to the agreement execution with the support of the international community.

He says the Catholic Church in South Sudan is praying for Pope Francis to appoint Bishops to the vacant Dioceses of Rumbek, Malakal and Torit, calling on Christians to be calm and patiently pray for God to give them green light.

Apostolic Administrator Monsignor Thomas Oliha Tiya was speaking to CRN over the weekend prior to departure to Torit after his three-day visit to Juba.
