Las Logistics General Manager involved in delivery of life saving humanitarian commodities in South Sudan says rising food commodity prices can be solved by technology of improving road network in the country.
Speaking during International Food Day in Juba on Friday Mariam Lahham explained that poor roads in South Sudan delay delivery of essential commodities to areas in dire need of food supplies, Radio Bakhita reported.
She observes that better roads make easier transportation leading to lower charges in markets.
Logistician Lahham believes logistics has so much connection with food and prices.
The International Food Day set by United Nations is marked every October 16 to send messages of fighting hunger.
