Western Equatoria anonymous resident of Mundri area says continuous government military gunship bombing for more than a week left over 300 citizens hiding in bushes dead, rotting without burial.
The anonymous source tells CRN in an exclusive interview that aerial bombing and heavy artillery shelling rained on civil population of Kediba, Lakamadi, Buagyi, Jambo and Kotobi areas where the newly created Amadi State lies.
The resident wonders who can rush for their rescue since United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS does not operate in Mundri as usual.
The source urges the government to identify the group it is fighting to sit for peace talks since the country is fed up of wars.
The resident says Mundri occupied by Moru tribe has many sons and daughters in the SPLA defending Upper Nile region from insurgency while back home government is turning against them.
SPLA Spokesman Colonel Philip Aguer this week admitted in the media that government forces are battling against unidentified insurgents in Western Equatoria through air and infantry.
