Southern Sudan’s ministry of Education revealed difficulties faced in verbal language communications among staff.

Many officials in GoSS lamented that most of the newly recruited university graduates posses certificates, but cannot deliver as expected of them.

Victor Akok Anei, Director for administration in the ministry of Education, told Sudan Tribune that it is common to find people with great ideas, theories and ways to solve complex problems, but unable to communicate their ideas clearly. He said the situation is hindering the process of implementing envisaged goals.

Mr. Anei added that a recent research carried out by his ministry revealed that the competence of some graduates does not match their academic qualification, while others have communication difficulties, and his ministry would provide communication skills to the officials who are faced with such difficulty.
