Civil society wants proper explanation of peace agreement

Civil Society organizations in Western Bahr El Ghazal on Tuesday at Civic Engagement Center in Wau during their discussion on their role in the implementation of the Peace Agreement want proper explanation of the document.
 
Community for Progress Organization or CEPO’s State Coordinator in Wau Stephen Robo cautions his colleague against misinterpretation of the document to make its implementation difficult, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
 
Edward Ngong from Kwajina of Community Development Group says the foreseeable outstanding challenge to the implementation is the warring parties not being able to work together.
 
Pasquiline Badagu of Food Basket Women Organization wants to ensure that the peace implementation process is known by all despite the challenge of transportation and ongoing killings in the country.
 
The group printed the fact cards which explain deadlines for the peace articles and implementation chapters.
 
The activists in the briefing meeting received copies of the summary of the Peace Agreement CEPO prepared as a tool to equip members in enlightening the citizens.
