Centre for Democracy and Development or CEDED, a local NGO operating in Yei River County on Thursday completed three-day training on human rights and good governance for forty women in Morobo County of Central Equatoria State.
Some of the participants told Radio Easter that the training would help them promote democracy, human rights, good governance, conflict resolution and peace building at grassroots.
CEDED Program Officer Dara Felix David calls on donors and partners to inject more funds for human resource development, disclosing plans to implement similar projects to other parts of the country.
The training that was funded by USAID through SUCCESS was to empower women with skills on promotion of democracy, human rights, governance, conflict resolution and peace building at local communities.
