Journalists in Yei River County met yesterday to discuss effective ways of covering the forthcoming referendum in January next year.
In the meeting, the journalists discussed ways to address the challenges of reporting to various media houses.
Some of the challenges analyzed were hunger, transport and lack of press cards among others issues. These challenges were mainly faced during the April elections.
Project coordinator for the Norwegian Peoples’ Aid NPA, Boboya James, urged all journalists in Sudan to follow their professional ethics to avoid crimes and arrests.
The meeting was organized by community education action program.
