The National Legislative Assembly on Wednesday conducted breakfast prayer for peace in Juba under the theme: ‘Peace I leave you, my peace I give you’.
Assembly Speaker Manasseh Majok Rundial said the prayer was meant for South Sudanese to be a sign of peace, unity and forgiveness among themselves, Radio Bakhita reported.
Bishop Isaiah Lual Deng of the Episcopal Church of Sudan and South Sudan calls on citizens to pray for peace and the successful implementation of the recently signed agreement.
The National Legislative Assembly breakfast prayer attracted faith-based groups, government officials, diplomatic missions, many citizens and non-governmental organization representatives.
