Zakaria Chol Gedeon, a member of Lakes State Legislative Assembly, passed away yesterday in Rumbek.
Maria Gedeon, a sister to the late, told Good News Radio that his brother died of diabetes.
Ms. Maria also revealed that his late brother was complaining of high blood pressure before he was taken to Rumbek Hospital Wednesday. Although his late brother was the fifth born in the family, he was considered an elder in the family since they lost both parents.
The late Chol comes from Akot geographical constituency and joined Lakes Legislative Assembly on SPLM party list.
