Yei Mayor attributed lack of housing and land lease rates to delay in issuance of certificates to residents.
Speaking at the swearing in ceremony of the remaining councilors on Wednesday, Santo Paul Lasuba called on the legislators to work on the rates as the first priority to generate revenues, Radio Easter reported.
On the survey, the Mayor said five residential areas including Lomuku one, Dar el Salaam, Ghabat, Lebel and Guava are ready awaiting land lease and search certificates to help citizens use their plots as collateral securities to acquire loans from banks.
