South Sudan launches first national curriculum

The national ministry of Education in collaboration with partners on Tuesday launched the first ever comprehensive curriculum.
 
Vice President James Wani Igga in opening remarks called on young people to develop competencies in all subjects to grow up able future leaders.
 
He expressed government’s determination to implement the agreement to realize lasting peace and security in the country.
 
Education Minister Dr John Gai Yoah for investing money on production of teachers and students’ guides and more trainings for teachers to implement the curriculum.
 
He appreciated the support of all global partners to strengthen education in the young country.
