Torit Catholic Diocese Apostolic administrator urged mediators to continue supporting South Sudan for smooth implementation of peace agreement.
Monsignor Thomas Oliha Tiyah before leading Caritas Torit Board leadership delegation to Luxemburg, Belgium on Thursday prayed that the guarantors support realization of lasting peace in the country, Radio Emmanuel reported.
He termed the signing of the agreement by Dr Riek Machar and President Salva Kiir Mayardit as a development to bring about tranquility in the country.
The Apostolic administrator prayed to God to protect the agreement against violation, saying the people of South Sudan are yearning for durable peace and harmony.
