The postponement was announced by the Chairperson of the Conference Organizing Committee, Yohana Musa Puk, who said GoSS president Salva Kiir Mayardit called for the postponement of the conference because he needed to attend it, Goss website reported.
Mr. Puk also said that the postponement was necessitated by the fact that the delegates from Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia and Congo, who are expected to participate in the conference, have not yet arrived.
The conference is supposed to come up with a strong resolution whether the students’ body should support unity or separation.
