Civil Society Organizations Forum in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State says they want to see full implementation of the ceasefire agreement, informing military commanders of the two warring parties to honour the cessation of hostilities to realize lasting peace.
The Forum’s Secretary-General Dara Felix appreciates the leaders for portraying their commitment to peaceful settlement of the conflict, saying it’s time for the armies to respect the decision of their leaders through desisting from military confrontation, Radio Easter reported.
Mr Felix also calls on citizens to own the agreement, telling the IGAD Plus to monitor full implementation of the Compromise Peace Agreement.
The civil society Secretary-General was talking to Radio Easter in a telephone interview on Saturday.
