Morobo County Commissioner on Thursday warned the newly sworn in councilors of Yei Municipal Legislative Council against inserting their own interests into public issues.
Moses Simon Soro laments that some previous councilors in his county were focusing on trees cutting to get profit, encouraging the volunteering councilors to work for the community’s interests, Radio Easter reported.
He told the Mayor to replace noncontributing councilors to get allowances.
Commissioner Soro announces that Morobo County Legislative Councilors are expected to be sworn-in on Friday.
