SPLM-N limits access to internet service in Nuba Mountains

Nuba Mountains Governor limited internet services only to all NGOs and prominent figures in the SPLM-N, banning civilians from accessing internet or any means of communication in the region.
 
Simon Kalu Kome instructed institutions that owns internet not to allow anybody to access internet, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
 
He allowed SPLM-N ecretaries and other prominent individuals in the civil service to access internet in some institutions.
 
The Governor explained that SPLM-N Security Council decided to limit internet service access to civilians after they discovered that the National Congress Party security organs were spying on the information people share with their friends on the internet.
 
The Governor said violators would be seriously charged and their equipment confiscated.
