The Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba expects peace to prevail among South Sudanese in the country.
Bishop Santo Loku Pio in his homily at St Theresa’s Cathedral Kator in Juba on Sunday, cheered the faithful to have high hope for the negotiating teams to reach a deal as IGAD scheduled, advising all citizens to sign peace at their homes, Radio Bakhita reported.
He stressed the need for safety of South Sudanese in Yambio, Malakal, Bentiu, Bor and other parts of the country instead of rushing to Addis Ababa for talks.
The Auxiliary Bishop emphasized on the home-built lasting peace rather than negotiated one.
