Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO Executive Director briefed spiritual leaders in Yambio, Western Equatoria State on the Intergovernmental Authority on Development or IGAD Plus Compromise Peace Agreement proposal and the peace talks process in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Edmond Yakani said the document is built on the outcome of the nine rounds of peace talks between the warring parties not minds of IGAD Plus or Troika, Radio Anisa reported.
He informed the church leaders to open their eyes on the Commission for Truth, Reconciliation and Healing.
Mr Yakani said most of the items in the proposal are agreed upon by both warring parties except security and power sharing arrangements.
