The Youth Association of Yei River County in Central Equatoria State is urging young people to desist from rural-urban migration in search of jobs, but embark on agriculture to get food and income.
The Association’s Chairperson Lagu Benjamin Nicholas decries that many youths are struggling for few available jobs neglecting agriculture, Radio Easter reported.
He stresses the need for improving higher schools and vocational training centres for young people to increase their knowledge and skills to eradicate high unemployment rate.
The Youth Association Chairperson was speaking to Radio Easter on Wednesday on International Youth Day.
