At least two people were killed after opposition forces allegedly attack a business track carrying food commodities on Wau-Tombura road on Tuesday evening around Gombolo area of Kpaile Payam in Wau County.
Western Bahr El Ghazal State Local Government and Law Enforcement Minister Angelo Taban Biago confirmed that one security personnel who exchanged fire during the attack was killed, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
He said security forces would be deployed to patrol the area to protect movements of commodities a long this life line road.
The Minister also confirmed the arrest of some suspects accused of carrying attacks on Mboro road where a paramount chief was wounded and two others killed last week.
