Western Equatoria Member of Parliament or MP in the National Assembly says a committee is formed to investigate Yambio incident that claimed lives and displaced residents to come up with a comprehensive report.
MP Anthony Lino Makana tells journalists in Juba that there were no more gun shots in the past five days as they managed to control the situation, Radio Bakhita reported.
He adds that those who took refuge in UNMISS have returned to their families and that schools, shops, markets and banks are operating normally.
MP Makana observes that despite the normal situation in the County, citizens are still panicking, urging them to carry on with their normal duties.
Yambio is the third County in Western Equatoria state to experience conflict after Mundri and Maridi counties leading to lost of lives and displacement.
