Citizens of Wau in Western Bahr El Ghazal including state government officials, students and civil society groups joint a protest condemning the IGAD compromised proposed agreement.

One of the protest organizers who read out the statement before the UNMISS state Coordinator says they realize burning issues in the IGAD document which might later fuel up the conflict if agreed upon, rejecting the 53 percent in the power sharing alloted to the opposition in Upper Nile, warning that it would result to the seperation of South Sudan.

He adds that adoption of two armies during the transitional period would creat mistrust among the armies.

The other protester demands IGAD to make some changes in a sense that Upper Nile remain one under the President.
