Speaking to SCR news in Juba, Charles Augustino Lumori, one of the participants, said the workshop was meant to teach members of both religions to understand each other better.
Mr. Lumori said the workshop would help the believers in Islam and Christianity to peacefully co-exist in the society. He noted that, after many misunderstanding between Muslims and Christians, all participants urged for forgiveness.
They also pointed out that Christianity and Islam had been sources of disunity in the community during the civil war in the country.
The training is attended by about forty five participants and ends on July 21.
