A priest of Wau Catholic Diocese Fr Christo Justo advises South Sudanese to be proud of their country instead of talking ill of it.
In his homily at St Mary Cathedral on Sunday Fr Justo criticizes citizens who prefer to live under Arab colonization due to problems and challenges they are facing in the country, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
He notices that people have forgotten God since the independence in 2011, likening South Sudanese to the people of Israel in the desert because the word of God did not find the place in their hearts making them to abuse God by killing innocent people.
Fr Justo urges the faithful to leave their bad behaviors, come back to God and be righteous children of God.
The priest calls on believers to pray for the leaders of South Sudan to sign peace agreement to give displaced people and refugees a chance to return home.
