Amidst chilling security situation in Western Equatoria State, Yambio town, Young Women Christians Association or YWCA General convention staged on Friday to conclude on Saturday today.
State Governor Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro opened the young women convention Friday, urging the association to work closely with women and men to raise awareness on the importance of education, Radio Anisa reported.
Over 180 women across South Sudan are in attendance of the convention at Yambio Cultural Centre expected to conclude with elections of executive board members.
