Equatoria Youth Union on Thursday launched peace rally in the state capital Torit Freedom Square coinciding with South Sudan Martyrs Day on July 30th.
The Union Chairperson Daniel Abocha says the rally under the theme: ‘Peaceful co-existence for prosperity and development’ signifies the historic event in South Sudan that culminated into peace, Radio Emmanuel reported.
Eastern Equatoria State Youth and Sport Minister appreciates the move of the Union.
State Governor Louis Lobong Lojore urges youths to be agents of change, stressing the need for youth to be engines of progress not destruction.
