Medicine Sans Frontières or MSF South Sudan Deputy Medical Coordinator reveals that cholera infection is declining amidst well equipped preparedness to tackle the outbreak.

Winston Mulanda tells the press that as of July 27, MSF sees cholera cases going down in Juba probably due to dry weather, citing Munuki Block ‘A’ Cholera Treatment Centre that handled 42 cases in recent days.

He narrates a treatment success story confirming the essence of taking medical services closer to the people.

The Deputy Medical Coordinator appeals to children caretakers to maintain high standard hygiene as children are at the highest risk of cholera victims.

He cautions public against considering aluminum sulphate for water treatment instead of chlorine.
