CHAMBER OF COMMERCE GETS NEW ADMINISTRATION

The South Sudan Chamber of Commerce today got a new administration that will run the affairs of the private sector in South Sudan.

The elections took place in Juba where various business associations met to form a unified executive body.
Mr. Paul of Southern Sudan Business Forum -SSBF, explained to SCR News that the elections finalized the process of electing leaders in various positions at all levels in the chamber of commerce.
Referring to the new administration, he said that the Structure will ease dialogue between the private and public sector.
Legal officer in the ministry of Legal Affairs Laurence Camilo urged the Association to act within the reach of the constitution in order to achieve their targets.
Mr. Camilo added that it would be difficult for the association to approach and even have government support if they did not adhere to the constitution.
Private sectors need a friendly environment to contribute to the growth of the economy through investment and capital accumulation.
