Central Equatoria State Parliament Member on Wednesday echoes government’s regret for giving sensitive business to foreigners.

MP Jenifer Yabu Lasuba stresses the need to resolve the issue and that fuel in Yei should not be increased because it is close to Juba and at the same state, Radio Easter reported.

She questions why the same companies sell fuel at six Pounds per litter in Juba and demands nine Pounds in Yei, yet it is near to Uganda compared to Juba, cautioning citizens to be careful and avoid entering into problems.

The MP tells people to be conscious of the situation and consult to keep away from some wrong elements who might have entered into Yei to destroy it.

The Member of Parliament was speaking during Radio Easter live program to address rioting Boda-boda boys because of fuel crisis.
